Led by an NPR campaign, the month of March has seen leading podcast publishers join forces to expand the podcast audience by encouraging listeners everywhere to "Try a Pod." Additionally, the hashtag #trypod is being used across social media in support of the movement. We are getting in on the action and sharing our favorite legal podcast resources, so, without further ado, we present our list of seven (or eight...) legal podcasts you should be listening to.
The latest installment of the Body of Knowledge (BoK) podcast series is now live! In this episode, panelists Jennifer Ahner (director of major accounts and proposals, Ogletree Deakins), Silvia Coulter (principal, LawVision Group) and Nathaniel Slavin (partner, Wicker Park Group) discuss the client services domain. Listen for a thought-provoking conversation on the state of client service initiatives today and where our panelists see things going in the next year. The group also covers the findings and takeaways from major studies on legal market demand — and why client services is more important today than ever. Listeners will even learn how client service can be a hedge against future downturn by driving more loyalty and the potential for better and more profitable work.
In the second installment of P3cast, "Godfather" of P3 Toby Brown (chief practice management officer, Perkins Coie LLP) and fellow outside counsel guidelines (OCGs) experts Chip Cherry (consultant, The Pennsy Group LTD Consulting Services) and Pratik Patel (vice president of legal business solutions, Elevate Services, Inc.) discuss the value of OCGs and share success stories and challenges, using examples of real-life implementation.
